Food Production Quality Assurance Technician

Reports directly to: Quality Assurance ManagerMinimum Qualifications:Must be able to read, write and speak English.Must be a U.S. citizen or possess the required authorization to work in the U.S.Must have basic math skills.Must demonstrate competency on the Production Operating Procedures.Must have an understanding of the expected performance of company blends.Must be responsible, dedicated, dependable and punctual.Must have ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.Must be self-motivated.Must be able to work independently and cooperatively with others.Must be organized, accurate and thorough with attention to detail and follow up.Job Responsibilities:Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:Responsible to perform direct observation verification of process controls and monitoring blending activities.Perform operational inspections to ensure adherence to GMP?s and food safety.Responsible for maintaining well organized, detailed and legible quality assurance records.Responsible for any task assigned by management.Responsible for maintaining and improving the safety, legality and quality of the products manufactured for the customers of BCW Food Products.Responsible to report any deviation from a quality requirement and place the product on hold.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Salary – dependent upon experiencePaid vacation, sick, and holidaysHealth, Dental, Vision Plans available401K Plan
